Use the Courier’s App or Website
If you’re not going to be home, the quickest and most reliable way to divert your parcel is through the courier’s app or website.
You’ll just need:
- Your tracking number, and
- Your delivery postcode.
Once logged in, you can choose from the diversion options available, such as:
- A trusted neighbour
- A safe place (porch, shed, carport, garage, behind bins, etc.)
- A parcelshop
- A locker
The sooner you request the diversion, the better chance the courier has of updating the route safely. Please note - all requests will be carried out within reasonable endeavours. Delivery instructions cannot be guaranteed by the courier.
Leaving a Note for the Courier
Some customers choose to leave a clear note on their door to direct the courier to a safe place. While this isn’t guaranteed, it has worked successfully for some deliveries.
Contacting Your Courier Directly
If you still need help with your delivery and the steps above haven’t resolved things, you can contact your courier directly for more specific delivery instructions or requests.
How to Get in Touch With Your Courier
Most couriers offer support through:
- Their Help Centre.
- Live chat functions.
- Callback or request support options.
- In‑app support if you’re using the courier’s app.
Simply visit the courier’s website and look for their Contact or Help page to get started.
