We completely understand how disappointing it can be when a favourite toy suddenly stops working. Let’s take this step by step to help you get things up and running again as quickly and simply as possible.
Below you’ll find guidance for battery‑powered toys, rechargeable toys, and general power‑on issues. If you still need help, we’re always here for you.
If Your Toy Uses Batteries
Many performance issues come down to battery power or battery placement. Here are the most common things to check:
Try fresh batteries
- Use new batteries the first time you use your toy.
- If your toy has stopped working, try replacing the batteries, as the originals may have run out.
- For the best performance, avoid mixing battery brands or combining new and used batteries.
Check how the batteries are inserted
- Make sure the batteries are fitted the correct way round.
- The instructions will show the correct orientation.
- If you no longer have the instructions, you can either search for these online, we can help source a copy for you - just contact Customer Services.
Remove any protective inserts
Some toys arrive with protective components that must be removed:
- A paper disc in the battery compartment to prevent the toy turning on during transit.
- A plastic wrapper around the batteries.
- Paper inserts showing battery direction - removing these prevents proper contact, so ensure they stay in place.
Consider removing batteries between uses
Some toys slowly drain power when stored with batteries inside. Removing them can help battery life last longer.
Using rechargeable batteries?
Rechargeable batteries can sometimes limit power output compared with disposable ones.
If your toy feels weaker than expected, try switching to standard disposable batteries.
If Your Toy Is Rechargeable
If your rechargeable toy isn’t turning on or isn’t holding charge, work through the following checks:
Make sure it’s fully charged
- Charge your toy for the recommended time stated in its instructions
- Most toys show a flashing light while charging, and a solid light when fully charged
Check the charging cable
- Ensure you’re using the correct USB charging cable provided with the toy
- Not all charging cables are interchangeable — the wrong cable may prevent charging
Check the charging connection
- Some toys use a magnetic charger, others use a pin‑style charging port
- Make sure the connector is firmly attached and making proper contact
Check out this instructional video - it's for the Morgasm Boost, but the rules apply to almost all other toys in our range.
If Your Toy Won’t Turn On
Sometimes the solution is surprisingly simple. Try the following:
Press and hold the power button
- Many toys require you to hold the power button for around 5 seconds.
- A single tap often won’t turn the toy on.
- To turn off, hold the power button again for 5 seconds.
Check the user guide
Different models have different activation methods, so please check the user guide or packaging.
- If you no longer have the instructions, you can either search for these online, we can help source a copy for you - just contact Customer Services.
