We know how frustrating it can be when something you love isn’t available, so here’s everything you need to know about stock updates.
We don’t have a central view of stock levels in a given store
At the moment, our Customer Services team can’t see live stock levels in individual Ann Summers stores, so we’re not able to check what’s available in your local store or advise if a certain product or size is available in store.
Customer services are not able to contact individual stores, and they cannot provide phone numbers or contact details for individual stores.
We're working on improving this so that, in the future, you’ll be able to see store stock levels online before you visit.
Some products restock regularly, while others don’t - and we never want to give the wrong expectation
Here’s how it works:
Continuity stock (e.g. core ranges like Sexy Lace)
- These lines are part of our long‑term collection and usually come back into stock when they sell through.
- You can typically identify continuity stock if the product is a classic or staple style.
- If something from our continuity ranges is out of stock, there’s a good chance it will return - but we still can’t confirm exact dates.
Seasonal stock (e.g. Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s collections)
- Seasonal or limited‑edition items are unlikely to return once they’ve sold out.
- You can typically identify seasonal stock if the product is linked to a specific events (like Halloween or Christmas), limited collections, or special campaigns.
- These collections are made in smaller runs and don’t typically repeat until the next year’s seasonal launch - and will often have been improved or tweaked based on this year's customer feedback.
If the product you were looking to buy is no longer on the website (e.g. you go back to a link you've saved, which would have gone to a product page), it is normally because the product is no longer in stock.
What You Can Do Instead
Check the Product Page Regularly
- The product page is the best place for the latest updates.
- If an item returns, it will show as available to purchase online.
- Stock can change quickly, so it’s worth checking back from time to time.
- To make it easier to check back later, you can favorite or bookmark specific styles or sizes on the site. That way, you can quickly return to the items you want and see whether they are available again.
Explore Similar Styles or Alternatives
- If a product is unavailable, you may find similar styles, colours, or designs currently in stock.
- This can be especially helpful if the original item is seasonal or limited edition.
Visit a Store in Person
- Although we can’t see store stock levels in advance, you’re very welcome to pop into a nearby Ann Summers store.
- Store colleagues can help you:
- Look for alternative options.
- Offer product guidance or fitting support, where relevant.
- Availability can vary by store, so visiting in person may be worthwhile if you’re nearby.
If the Item Is Seasonal
- Seasonal or limited‑edition products may not return once sold out.
- You may wish to look out for future seasonal launches, which often include refreshed or improved designs based on customer feedback.
We’re improving our systems for the future
Behind the scenes, we’re working hard on upgrades that should allow us to:
- Share stock alerts more reliably.
- Display real‑time online stock.
- Show product availability in every Ann Summers store.
- Help you quickly find a nearby store with the item you want.
